Cretan Sports Association is a not for profit organization that provides the community with learning, team and sports activities. It is the premier provider of youth experiences and serves more than 30,000 participants in four sports (football, basketball, volleyball and gymnastics) throughout the Iraklion area with potential participation from other areas of Crete. Participants include public, private and home school students. Our marketing focus, made explicit in this plan, renews our vision and strategic focus on adding quality to our program and making it affordable and available for all interested participants. This can be achieved through successful fund-raising activities, our experienced coaches, volunteers and personnel and a solid financial approach to managing our resources. C.S.A will have to confront uncertainties related to government policies, facility, human resources and fund requirements as well as the impact of alternative programs. All the people who are involved in the C.S.A activities will continue to work optimistically and effectively toward improving the quality of the program and making the association exceptional in the services it offers.

Grand Tour of East Crete: Heraklio and Lasithi
I crossed a Grand Place of East Crete:Heraklio and Lasithi in 18/08/2012 and 19/08/2012. It was God’s Will to do it and this happens once in a Millennium. I started the tour from Nea Alikarnassos towards Malia. Then I went up to the Mountain Selena. I stopped at Mohos district for a drink. Some friendly people and traditional taverns were there. One exception, a thin man with a moustache who throwed a small bottle of water under my car but anyway, I think he was joking. I stayed until 15:30 Then I started driving like a F1 Driver. It was very dangerous because the roads were narrow. I followed the route from Mochos to Kera and Tzermiado and I made a really Fast Round of Lasithi Plateau and then I started going down from Mesa Lasithi to Zenia, Adrianos with a quick stop for fuel at Agios Nikolaos. Then I continued going down from Agios Nikolaos to Istro, Pachia Ammos towards Ierapetra. I entered Ierapetra and then I turned towards the South East Lasithi. I passed Ierapetra Camping and I stopped at Korali Beach for Swimming. The wind was blowing very strong so that tiny sand stones were flying. The Game continued between 20:00-21:00, when I took the road to the “Queen of South Crete”: Ierapetra. I had some pork meat and Soft Drinks and a Cold Coffee at the East Part of Ierapetra. Then I took the road towards Myrtos, crossing Gra Ligia, Stomio and Neos Myrtos. I crossed Myrtos between 21:30-22:00 and entered Viannos Municipality (Tertsa) about 22:00. (18/08).I spend the night at a peaceful beach West of Tertsa District (19/08). It was a Miracle. I was staring at the Night Sky who was crystal clear and hundreds of stars were shining. Some Fishing Boats were still on the Livikos Sea till early in the morning. I woke up about 07:00 am and the sea was calm. I “washed my face and body” with a short swim. Then I continued towards Psari Phorada, where I arrived between 08:20-09:00. I had some drinks and sweets and I went for swimming until 13:00-14:00. I had two ice creams and a soft drink and then I took the road back to Heraklion, crossing the Omalos Mountain to Viannos, Panagia, Kasteli, Kalo Chorio, Koxari, Gouves. I reached the North National Highway of Crete between 17:00-18:00 and finished between 17:30-18:00.
It was a unigue driving and tour experience. E-BCR, Michael Kassotakis, www.e-bcr.com
