In this year, participants from more than 90 countries contested. Obviously, it is vey hard to judge all these beauties. It is sure that there will be disappointments and complaints about the results and the contest. However, the experience and joy of the participation is great, since the participants are The No 1 in their countries according to this competition and they have already achieved a significant distinction in their career.

Today Greece celebrates the 200th anniversary of the revolution against the slavery from Ottomans.
The History of 200 years since the Greek revolution of 1821 teaches us a lot but the essence is one: In national issues, we fail divided and we win united. This becomes even more crucial for nations like Greece that have small population. However, the case of Greeks indicates that the rich quality of them overcomes the disadvantage of the small quantity.
The Greek civilization is the oldest in Europe and unique in the world. It’s the Greek gene, quality, Philhellenes and the allies like United Kingdom, Russia and France that contributed significantly to the Greek revolution and liberation.
Happy and joyful Greek Revolution Anniversary 1821-2021. Let the following years are years of peace and prosperity
Almost all Greek Tourism destinations like Greek islands, Crete have demonstrated none or very low cases of coronavirus.
So, Greece and especially Greek islands like Crete can be characterised as safe destinations and can get ready to welcome guests, according to medical and other guidelines.
This year the main aim of businesses is to minimise the losses from the pandemic. The same applies for all tourism destinations.
According to the World Health Organization the following are basic protection measures against the coronavirus:
- Wash your hands frequently with an alcohol based hand rub or soap and water.
- Maintain social distancing at least 1 meter between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. This is because you can breathe the droplets including the virus.
- Practice respiratory hygiene. This means cover your mouth and nose with your bent, elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose the used tissue immediately. Clean any surface that might have the virus and use gloves in human interactions and transactions.
- If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing seek medical care early in order to prevent spread of viruses and other infections.
- Stay informed and follow advice given by your national health care provider.
- If you have recently visited (past 14 Days) areas where covid-19 is spreading, stay at home. If you begin to feel unwell even with mild symptoms such as headache and slightly runny noise stay at home, until you recover.
- If you are affected by covid-19 inform your national healthcare provider of any recent travel or contact with travelers in order to direct you to the right health facility and prevent possible spread of virus.
- To avoid spread rumors, always check the source of information.
- Avoid crowded places or places where you might interact with people who are sick and places where the virus is present or is spreading.
For the latest health advice about covid-19 and other health issues visit www.who.int/COVID-19 and your national health organization websites.
In addition to W.H.O. guidelines, it is significant to find the cure for coronavirus. It is because this pandemic movement is estimated to spread more the following weeks. Thousands of patients and dead people will be added to the consequences of this pandemic movement. This is a global threat for humanity and it is proposed to fund with great generosity the foundation of a vaccine and the cure against coronavirus. Healthcare organizations and relevant medical staff have to be mobilized all over the world for this purpose.
I don’t want to be confirmed but coronavirus might be worse than a world war. The same applies for other deadly diseases like HIV, cancer and so on.
So the discovery of a vaccine or cure for coronavirus as soon as possible is the only solution in order to stop the consequences and return back to normal life.

Countless hours of work have passed during the last 9 months for various reasons and the public good without taking any financial reward. I didn’t have the time to take care myself (e.g. leave neck and body aches and lose weight) and the house I am living. So, we close, I will spent the next 99 days for a combination of personal care, house repairs, house improvement and holidays in my home, Heraklion, Crete, Greece. Then we will see what happens.
The 28th Olympic games were organised in Greece. The Olympic flame traveled for the first time in five continents.
In these games 201 National Olympic Committees, 10,625 athletes (4329 women, 6,296 men) participated, 301 events were organised, 45,000 volunteers offered free services and 21,500 members of media broadcasted them. It is worth noticing that members of royal families, chiefs of nations, chiefs of sports organisations, celebrities attended.
The opening ceremony took place at Olympic stadium in Athens, in 13th August 2004. The official opening of the games was made by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos Stefanopoulos. The three first countries in medals were 1) USA (35 gold, 33 silver, 29 bronze, 103 total), 2) China (63 gold, 17 silver, 14 bronze, 63 total) and Russia (27 gold, 27 silver, 38 bronze, 92 total). Greece won 6 gold, 6 silver, 4 bronze medals, 16 total. The closing ceremony took place in 29th August 2004.
Even if the Games received some negative critics, concerning the cost, they finished with success and a positive net result. This is enforced by the fact that Olympic Games do not include only tangible assets but also intangible assets of great importance. So, The Olympic Movement was not the only reborn and advertised but also the history, culture and potential of the Hellenic Nation, when it is coordinated as a team.
